| Summary | The article deals with the evolution and development of the jubilee celebration practice in the literary life of the Middle Ural. The authors’ jubilees (‘round’ dates related to birthdays, beginning of creative work, deaths) are viewed as the effective tools of the social and cultural policy at the local level. The review covers both the nation-wide jubilees in the celebration of which the region took an active part, and the specific regional events. The source of the factual material for the article was the publications of the project “Chronicles of Literary Life of the Ural of the 19th -20th centuries”. | ||
