Summary | Based on the analysis of the Russian and the Arabian chronicles evidence and travel notes of the European travelers the author presented a calculation of time it might take the Russian Princes of the 13th–15th centuries to visit the Horde Khan’s headquarters. This calculation gives reason to believe that the time spend for such travel (about half a year) took a relatively insignificant part of the life and work of a Russian Prince. This would allow in the course of further studies to assess the degree of the effect of the Horde political culture on the Russian one, understanding that the stay of a Russian prince in the Horde was a very important, or even a decisive factor. | ||
