Аннотация В статье с позиций этноархеологии анализируются старые эвенкийские охотничьи стоянки в местах поколки (массового забоя оленей на участках пересечения путей миграций животных и крупных рек) на основе изучения одного из таких мест в верхнем течении реки Оленёк. Экономическая роль таких мест крупномасштабной добычи хорошо известна и признана в археологии. Центральной темой обсуждения в настоящей статье является их социальная, идеологическая и территориальная роль. Второй акцент в обсуждении сделан на том, в какой степени мы можем экстраполировать социальные, идеологические и территориальные грани промысла, зафиксированные на современных местах поколки, на характеристики памятников верхнего палеолита с аналогичной экономический основой.
