В данной статье рассматривается феномен памяти как основы идентичности. Но, исследуя скорее механизмы «архивирования» воспоминаний в настоящем и не считая, что память прочно связана лишь с прошлым, автор привлекает срочинения Мориса Хальбвакса, утверждая, что вопрос идентичности — это в такой же степени вопрос «путей», как и « «корней».
