| Summary | The article summed up main results of the 4th International Northern Archaeological Congress (NAC) which took place on 19–23 October, 2015 in Khanty-Mansiysk. Main goal of NAC, implemented in the work of its eight topical panels, was the discussion and popularization of recent academic discoveries, the most significant achievements and future prospects of the archaeology of Northern Eurasia, the development of original concepts, theoretical and methodological aspects of history of the indigenous northern cultures within the global historical context; actualization of ethno-cultural heritage and identity of the peoples of the Ural, Siberia and Northern Eurasia; preservation and popularization of archaeological heritage sites. Initial plans for the organization of the 5th NAC were made with the main focus on the development strategy, updating the theoretical and methodological aspects of Northern archaeological studies, methods of preservation and use of the archaeological resources of Northern Eurasia. | ||
