Summary	The author studied the meteorological magic of the Komi-Permyak as a special group of popular beliefs and rituals. Popular perceptions of the causes of natural phenomena affecting various aspects of the farmers’ life have been analyzed on the materials of the ethnographic field studies; the scope of the study covered the structure of the ritual prayer for rain fall or stop of the rainy weather.
