Summary The spread of digital technologies and the development of cyberspace have facilitated the emergence of a new form of ethnic self-presentation for communities based on the direct participation of their representatives — ethnobloggers. In this context, an analysis of the motivations underlying the activities of ethnobloggers and determining the content, form, and focus of their published content is particularly significant. The study is based on a combination of methods, including in-depth interviews and content analysis of ethnic narratives on the public pages of ethnobloggers. The theoretical and conceptual context is the anthropology of movement and its particular case, motivationalism. The research focuses on the cybermotives of the two ethnobloggers who are guiding the process of translating traditional cultural practices into digital formats, contributing to the formation of new ways of expressing and preserving ethnic identity in the information society. The study found that the motivational palette of ethnobloggers is a complex set of incentives, among which cultural, educational, linguistic, social, communicative, and identity-based motivations play a key role. Analyzing cybermotives suggests the emergence of a new model of cultural dissemination, where traditional knowledge is integrated into the digital space, preserving its authenticity but acquiring new forms of expression. Ethnoblogging is becoming not just an information channel but also a mechanism for the formation of virtual communities united by a shared cultural identity and an interest in ethnic diversity.
